Nombres premiers de Sophie Germain

Un nombre premier $p$ est dit premier de Sophie Germain si $2p+1$ est aussi un nombre premier. Par exemple, 2,3,5 sont des nombres premiers de Sophie Germain, mais 7 n'en est pas un.

Ces nombres premiers ont une importance historique, car Sophie Germain a démontré vers 1825 ce cas particulier du théorème de Fermat :

Théorème : Soit $p$ un nombre premier de Sophie Germain. Alors si des entiers naturels $x,y,z$ vérifient l'équation $x^p+y^p=z^p$ alors au moins l'un des trois est divisible par $p^2$.

Ce résultat était la première grande avancée sur le théorème de Fermat depuis les travaux d'Euler.
